Dumaguete Philippines

Oriental Negros

Want to know where to go in Dumaguete? where to find goods and services in Dumaguete? Do you want to see some pictures of unusual and everyday Dumaguete? If you are a tourist or an Expat, browse this Dumaguete site to get valuble practical information. Dumaguete is near Apo Island, one of the premier adventure dive locations in the Philippines. We hope you enjoy your visit and will return often.

Dumaguete Philippines is a wonderful small rural City with just enough infrastructure to make it an ideal location to live. There are hospitals, schools and universities, adventure diveshops, and many outstanding tourist attractions. Convenient to Bacolod and Cebu City, big city shopping malls, medical centers, and nightlife are four hours away.

Notice that Dumaguete locations are described without street numbers, that is because they are not often displayed on the buildings here, and would be of little value. In addition many of the streets in Dumaguete do not have signs. We try to get you there by naming prominent landmarks and descriptions as well as street names. Barangay (small township) names are also used to get you in the general location.

Check out the the Cebuano Visayan link for a downloadable PDF file of a complete quick course on the visayan dialect, plus links to other language resources.
